Reflexology
Reflexology
Reflexology is a complementary therapy, which works on the feet to help the whole person not just the prevailing symptoms. Reflexology is suitable for all ages and may bring relief from a wide range of chronic and acute conditions.
Reflexology may be useful in managing stress, relieving tension, improving circulation and increasing energy.
The initial treatment includes a full consultation to enable treatments to be tailored to your specific requirements. The number of sessions needed to correct a condition will depend upon how long the body has been functioning incorrectly. A course of treatments is recommended for specific conditions. Tiny deposits and imbalances may be detected in the feet. Working the feet also incorporates stimulation on acupressure points situated on the feet and ankles making it a powerful treatment. Reflexology may aid the bodies natural healing abilities and could help in restoring energy, leaving you feeling refreshed and relaxed. Tension may be eased and circulation and elimination improved.

(Advanced reflexology techniques by Anthony Porter)
Advanced reflexology techniques are used in conjunction with orthodox techniques, they differ a great deal from these, not only in the way they are performed, but in the contact which is deeper and more invigorating. Each client receives a unique treatment designed for their needs.
Colour Reflexology
The use of colour in healing has its basis in Ancient Greek, Indian, and Egyptian medical practices, and the vibrational frequencies of light are generally acknowledged today as having beneficial effects on us both physically and mentally. Colour reflexology can be used during a general treatment using a colour reflexology torch. This torch has a round quartz crystal head and has nine stained glass discs. The appropriate treatment colour is used on sensitive reflexes.
Foot Reading, Language of the Feet
Feet are often taken for granted, not only do they support the body through life's adventures, but they constantly alter in appearance to reflect outwardly the subtle fluctuations of the elusive and mysterious subconscious and unconscious mind
Feet are remarkable! With 26 small bones, 19 muscles and over 30 ligaments, they adapt naturally to life's ups and downs, easily meeting the challenges of life.
Using foot reading techniques within a general reflexology session can help us to understand the effects life and thoughts can have on the body.
Feet can reveal how potentially destructive and restrictive thought patterns can be reversed advantageously through a change of mind.
